About
Providing compassionate care in North Carolina
I provide neurodivergent-friendly, trauma-informed compassionate care to women, children, adolescents, and families. I utilize a blend of approaches including humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and systemic. I tailor techniques to client need, incorporating child-centered play therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, and collaborative problem solving among others. I incorporate directive coaching into therapy when necessary and appropriate, but ultimately believe the client is the expert in their life, and their family.
My primary areas of emphasis are trauma recovery, setting healthy boundaries, breaking generational cycles, compassion fatigue, and gentle parenting - for regulated, safe, stable, and fulfilling lives. I also have an extensive background in the education field and am passionate about making school more accessible for children and adolescents.
I hold an associate level license in North Carolina, and am under the necessary clinical supervision. I am board certified as a National Certified Counselor.
